Welcome! I’m so glad you found your way here. This is a positive space with no guilt attached for neglecting the dishes waiting to be washed and laundry begging to be folded to hang out with me.
I’m Erin! I created this space when I pushed the pause button on my teaching career to become a stay-at-home momma. Although, I really consider myself a work from home momma between writing, building my business, and of course cherishing my time with my boys. I needed an outlet and that’s when I started LPB and haven’t looked back since. I blog about motherhood, kids, crafts, early learning, lifestyle, and beauty. I love connecting with my readers and fostering a positive place to learn, grow, and share!
Once upon a time, a princess met her prince – ok, for real I married my high school sweetheart! Here’s what the numbers say: we have been friends longer than not – 18 yrs, married for 8 years, 2 baby boys, countless disagreements, and endless love. I could never be more grateful for a husband who loves all my perfect imperfections.
I graduated with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in English as a Second Language so what that really means is I joined the teaching community and taught in elementary school as an ESL teacher. My students were bilingual students who were learning English while also trying to learn grade level curriculum. So my job was to help them access the curriculum even though they might not have a proficient grasp on the language. I worked with kiddos K-5 and it was truly rewarding and such a learning experience.
I have two little monsters. Actually, in this momma’s eyes they are simply the sweetest, cutest little boys around. Toddler E is 4 and Baby E is 2 years old. I embrace motherhood and although many times I’m just barely staying above water, I try to appreciate the significance of all those insignificant mom moments.
We all have a journey and life experiences worth sharing! It would be my honor to have you following along with me.
