Are you interested in introducing early learning concepts to your child at home? I’m a teacher turned stay-at-home mama and education is close to my heart. Teaching my boys comes naturally to me and honestly, I keep my eyes open for resources that are fun, functional and affordable as a mama on a budget!
I try to carve out a time in our day for early learning through play at home in a fun and engaging way. I love to be transparent with you all though and I’ll admit sometimes our “learning time” gets pushed to the side for one reason or another. Just know that there is no perfect way to incorporate learning into the day. We don’t sit down with as much focus or as often as I’d like but some days we have more time than others. Some days we simply snuggle and read a few books.
Anyways, are you wondering where you can snag some of the BEST resources at some of the BEST prices?! Some of my best purchases for introducing early learning concepts have come from Zulily! Have you shopped at Zulily before? Often times, I browse Zulily on an app on my phone when I get a few minutes of downtime and I’m always surprised at the brands I find and the great deals. It is possible to shop on a desktop as well.
Early Learning Through Play At Home Resources
There are trusted brands every time I check Zulily. For some of my favorite early learning through play at home resources, there are brain-boosting toys from the most trusted brands such as Learning Resources, Step2, Scholastic, The Learning Journey, Stephen Joseph and Melissa & Doug.
This Melissa & Doug Alphabet Sound Puzzle is a resource we use often. If I need a few minutes to finish up something, I’ll ask one of the boys to put this puzzle together. It doesn’t require my direct help and they are learning in the process!
The wooden board calls out the names of letters when a piece is placed in its slot, which helps to reinforce memorization. Easy to use and understand, this puzzle is perfect for independent play—and learning!
Another resource that has been used time and time again by both of my boys is an art easel! It’s perfect for art activities or letter practice! I found this adorable wooden art easel at Zulily!
With new sales starting every morning, you never know what you will find at Zulily. You will find some of the brands you love and just select your favorites to keep updated on when they are featured.
Be sure to shop my collection of favorite early learning through play at home resources that I’ve rounded up from Zulily at this time! You will honestly be surprised what you find!
