I’ve been inspired after reading Life with Rosie’s goals for the month so I’ve joined a link-up setting monthly goals! How awesome?!? I’m excited to take the plunge and write my goals down instead of having them all jumbled up in my head. My June goals include both blog goals and personal life goals. So here it goes:
One goal is to focus the theme on my Instagram account. This month I want to add a new photo that I take with my DSLR on Instagram each day that captures one beautiful moment of the day, showcasing the significance of those insignificant moments. I’d love if you share your moments of beauty with me #lovepeacebeauty.
Build my Pinterest account by pinning and/or repinning at least 10 pins each day.
Enjoy my vacation to Myrtle Beach, S.C., building memories and spending quality family time.
Continue to exercise at least 3 days a week but I prefer to aim for 4 days. I would really like to push myself and increase my consistent jogging distance to 2 miles. Lately, my total walking/jogging distance is 3-4 miles but with frequent interruptions that can be read about here.
Organize my closet. It’s just bad energy having clothes that don’t fit anymore and I have too much that I just never wear. I’m definitely loving the minimalist approach to wardrobes these days but that’s for another day.
Make a trip to Salvation Army with donations.
Read 1 book and write a book review. I honestly have not read a book from front to back since last summer – I know, I know, it’s not like I gave birth and life got any busier as a mommy of two kiddos! One thing I always love about summer is doing some summer reading so here goes trying to take time for myself and do something I enjoy (which is a rare occasion with the littles).
So these are my June goals – honestly some of these seem a bit ambitious knowing my crazy life but I love that I’ve linked up with My So Called Life and A Peek at Karen’s World for this monthly goals link-up party. This is what I need to hold myself accountable. Let’s do this!
Aw, thanks so much for linking back to me! I’m glad you felt inspired! I’m working specifically on my instagram account as well; trying to post one-two photos a day that I’ve taken with my DSLR and hashtagging a bit more strategically! I’ve already gained 80 followers! I can’t believe it’s working! Good luck with your other goals; I can’t wait to hear how they all turn out for you!

Yay, glad it’s working out for you!! Thanks for stopping by. :)
These are great goals! I need to become more consistent with sharing mine. I think I look at it as a vulnerability if I list them and don’t do them, but I need to look at it from a different perspective to help hold me accountable and push me more! :)
I know what you mean – I’m definitely holding myself more accountable since posting my goals though! I’ll think to myself that I don’t have time to do it but then I do my best to make the time. Lol.
Love these goals, Erin! You sure do have a fun month ahead of you! :)
Thank you, Alannah!
Thanks so much for visiting me on my blog! I had to stop by to meet you, as well :-) I love that we have such similarities. Beautiful blog and presence! I’m following you on Pinterest and Instagram! Would love to learn from you there .. just trying to get an Instagram going. It seems to be the one I always forget about :-(
Many blessings and smiles,
Lori (Searching for Moments)
Thank you, Lori! I’m happy we connected. :)
These are wonderful goals, and a reminder for me to get off my booty! :P
