Hey! Hey! It’s the weekend!
This week I tried to get back into work mode after not having a consistent writing schedule for the past month. Of course, I do my best to stay active on Instagram and stories if you want to follow me there and I often post more behind the scenes stuff. If there is more of a certain topic you hope to see me publish this year, please drop me a comment, DM, or email and let me know!
This week I thought I would post a round-up of 5 hot items in our household lately. You know how sometimes you buy something and realize just how much easier or better it makes your life and you just want to share with anyone who may need the same thing in their life. Okay, maybe it’s only me that gets THAT excited about stuff… but there have been a few things that have been game-changers in big ways and small, and I figured it would be fun to share!

Curling Wand
I never owned a curling wand before but I kept seeing them popping up in my Facebook feed and one brand being heavily advertised by other bloggers. I really wanted to try one because as I’m trying to grow my hair out, I still need to style it every once in a while. My curling iron usually leaves a weird crimp mark on my hair, not too mention the curling iron barrel I have now is too big for my shorter hair.
After doing some research I decided to purchase an inexpensive yet highly recommended curling wand on Amazon. Anyways, I’ve been really excited about it! I purchased the ½-1” but I’d recommend the 1- 1½” if you have longer hair. After watching a few YouTube tutorials and a little practice (and a couple burns later), I have the hang of it! I used it in the pic below for reference!
Automatic Soap Dispenser
With kids, the introduction of an automatic soap dispenser in our main bathroom has been a game changer! I purchased one about a year ago and it was so convenient since sometimes the boys have trouble pumping the soap on certain dispensers and we do A LOT of hand washing. It was an improvement for the mess in my bathroom and I could trust the boys were actually using soap because they enjoy using it. Our first dispenser stopped working so I spent a little more on this soap dispenser and we love it! It looks kinda fancy and we hope it lasts longer. This is the first one we purchased and it is less expensive and worked great for a year if you want to try it out to see if it works for your household.
Art Kit
We had so much fun with this new art kit that Eli received. Eli is 6 years old and it was a great set for his age and it would be perfect for older kids as well. It was an activity that I enjoyed doing with him as well. He needed a little help but he really enjoyed making his masterpieces so I definitely recommend it. I love to see the boys getting excited about art! We purchased the on-the-go set, the refill kit, and doodle boards (which we haven’t used yet) to extend the activity.

Boys Sweathshirt
We visited the local train station this past weekend. We went on the weekend

New Kids Game
And last but not least, the boys had a blast playing this new game! I played with Little E first to get him familiar with how it works but by the end of our time, the boys were playing together full of laughter. The game is to build the structure carefully but quickly on your platform and then smash the boomer to send your opponent’s structure tumbling. This was a super fun game for my boys!

If you have any products you’re loving lately, be sure to let me know. I love trying new things! :)
