I was provided product samples free of charge from Oriental Trading in exchange for my honest opinion. No other compensation was provided for this post.
Both of my boys have October birthdays and we just couldn’t wait to celebrate Little E turning 3 and Eli turning 5 years old. This year, we had a mini monster themed party for them! We invited our closest family and friends and the boys had the BEST time playing with their cousins. I’m excited to share our party theme and decor ideas so let’s break down my little monsters’ birthday party.
Our mini MONSTERS
Meet our youngest little monster who just turned 3! He’s such a lovable guy with a love for riding his bike and playing with trains!
And this is our oldest little monster, who I just can’t believe turned 5 years old! He is athletic and loves all outdoor play! Watch out world, there’s not much that will stop this handsome boy!
I ordered these monster birthday shirts from the Etsy shop Exit17. My order arrived promptly and I love that you can personalize this cute design with any age and name! Be sure to check out this shop for many other birthday themed designs!
MINI MONSTER themed PARTY Sneak peek
The theme was mini monsters and I ordered a large majority of the decor from Oriental Trading. Their selection is always good quality with a wide variety of items.
My motto with birthday parties is to keep it simple! Paper products are easy and they make colorful additions to the table setting. We also just had a few finger foods and ordered pizza which satisfied the kids and adults at the party. With just a few special touches, it was a fun mini monster table setting.
I was super surprised to see the awesome selection at our local Walmart bakery. These monster cupcakes were in their bakery catalog and the colors could be customized. They were super affordable and super cute!
mini monster themed PARTY GAMES
We were thankful for a few party games that could be enjoyed indoors. With 5 boys inside on a drizzly afternoon, we needed to keep them busy! The boys enjoyed playing the Monster Bean Bag Toss Game as well as tossing the Inflatable Monster Plush Balls.
One of the highlights of the party was the bounce house that my sister brought over for the boys. We set it up in the basement for a bouncin’ good time! Even though we would have preferred a sunny day, the boys all had a great time and were still able to burn all their energy.
We ended the party on a high note! The boys went to town swinging at their piñata and then put all of their goodies into these mini monster treat bags. These were super easy to make with red paper bags and white foam purchased from the dollar store.
This Mini Monster Themed Party was super easy to put together and very fun for all of us. I hope you check out Oriental Trading for all your future party needs!
