I started this blog in 2015 with absolutely NO idea what I was really diving into but I wanted a place to share and connect with other mothers and I was in a transitional phase. I was transitioning from a working mom to a stay at home mom and I kinda felt I needed a purpose. I honestly didn’t have much social media knowledge except for connecting with friends and family on Facebook but now I’m a social media enthusiast!
So let’s look through some of my journey so far.
My first post. It’s interesting to look back and see where I started, blogging started as occasional journaling.
My first “viral” post. So by no means was it even close to viral, BUT it was shared multiple, multiple times and brought in lots of traffic.
Spreading the message to be your own kind of beautiful was a popular beauty post that’s full of inspiration.
I love to share ideas for early education and activities for littles. I guess from my experience in the classroom I just have a passion to share my creative ideas.
Here are a few of the posts where I get a little more personal about the “real” me behind the blog:
So I don’t like labels but I finally gave myself the “SAHM” label as I share my feelings about becoming a SAHM. And here I share some of the misconceptions that I’ve experienced and even had myself. And here when I transitioned to a work at home mom.
At first, publishing posts was very intermittent, I was often working behind the scenes researching and implementing what I’ve learned but I was finally blogging more consistently when I shared this post about the blog mom and SAHM life.
So here I am loving this blog community all about connecting through motherhood. This is a judgement free zone where it’s understood we all wear many, many hats and relate from different perspectives.
