St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. We wanted to celebrate with a fun St. Patrick’s Day dessert recipe. I wanted to teach my boys a little more about St. Patrick’s Day. We read Paddy and the Wolves: A Story about Saint Patrick When He Was a Boy.
They’re learning that St. Patrick’s Day is not just leprechauns and gold at the end of the rainbow, but that St. Patrick was a missionary determined to share the gospel with those that enslaved him. This Shamrock Lollipops St. Patrick’s Day Recipe was a big hit with my boys. They really love snacks on a stick for some reason! :)

Pick up your supplies to get started. I ordered the sticks a while ago through Amazon and used them for fruit kebabs so I had them on hand. I found the festive St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles at Michael’s and I’ve linked some options below from Amazon.
These were actually really simple to make and my boys really enjoyed scarfing them down. It’s a fun way to combine fruit and sweet treat and it made for the perfect after-school snack.
