This month our family theme is gratitude. We try integrating gratitude into our discussions as well as our activities for a natural way to learn. This simple Thanksgiving preschool magnet activity is perfect for little hands (and both my 2-year-old and 4-year-old have loved it!)
- cookie sheet
- refrigerator magnets (fall themed)
All of my materials were purchased at the Dollar Tree…seriously! I couldn’t just pick one package of the fall themed magnets so this project cost me about $4.
This We Are Thankful Magnet Activity is super simple and can be used again and again. We wrote on one package of magnets the things we are thankful for – our house, friends, and family. Then, the boys create different pictures by putting the magnets on the cookie sheet. The words we wrote are geared towards the language development of our activitiy and they are sentence starters for our gratitude discussion.
This is a simple, fun Thanksgiving preschool magnet activity. It’s perfect for a quiet time activity or even for car rides. I hope you are able to enjoy it with your children!
