I have received information from the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post.
Holiday season is whirling all around us now! It just so happens to be my favorite time of the year! I just get tickled pink thinking about holiday music, sipping hot chocolate, creating memorable traditions, and spending time with my family.
I grew up with a “nontraditional” family. My parents divorced and remarried so I was blessed with a larger, extended, blended family. I’ve experienced different dynamics of family as I lived with my mom, dad, and brother until about age 6. Then, I experienced the dynamics of family living with my dad and brother. And, around age 9 I started living with my mother and step-father and eventually my half-brother was born. I spent many holidays with my stepdad’s family and I was always welcomed with open arms to a blended family of love and warmth. Since I married, I have an even larger family!
One wonderful part of a large inclusive family is that my children are now fortunate to have a a Nana & Coach, Grandma, Grandma & Grandpa, Gramma & PopPop and this is just the immediate circle of grandparents! When someone comments to my sons that “they sure have a lot of grandmas,” we embrace it and tell them “they sure have a lot of love!” So maybe we have a “nontraditional” family but it is one large and loving family.
This holiday season, I am inspired by how TYLENOL® celebrates the diversity of all families! The following video showcases REAL moments from REAL families who embrace joy, laughter, surprise, and unconditional love.
I am honored to spread the #HowWeFamily message that family is not about who you love but how. If only, I could shout this inspirational message from the rooftops for all to hear!
In our house, we strive to be a family where we do not judge but embrace, a family of inclusion not exclusion, a family of faith and a family where there are never too many “I Love You’s”. What better way to receive love, than to express love and be an example of LOVE!
Family to me is unconditional love, cherishing traditions, and creating memories! This is #HowWeFamily! How do you family?
