One important healthy habit is to eat healthy snacks. My goal lately is to eliminate the junk from our pantry and keep healthy options available. We keep nuts, dried fruit, trail mix, and popchips in the house so that when we just want something to munch on – we have healthier options.

Staying hydrated is a healthy habit and it packs A LOT of benefits. Water is almost always my drink of choice. The bigger problem for me is taking the time to hydrate. I’ve attempted to overcome this by keeping a notebook on the counter and I mark when I refill my water bottle. Also, I try to drink a glass of water before eating a meal. I keep sliced lemons or limes in the fridge to add a zing to my water every now and again!
